Immerse yourself in the inspiring setting of the Trust’s Rodd Farm for this brand new one day workshop led by Helena Attlee and Emma Beynon.
With pen and paper in hand, you will explore ancient woodlands, water meadows, hollow ways and the hidden details of the beautiful Hindwell valley. Helena and Emma will encourage you to develop your writing skills, introducing you to an eclectic mix of the finest writing past and present, carefully selected to enrich your experience of this unique environment. Plenty of feedback and support will mean you leave with some finely crafted writing and the skills to develop new writing habits.
Helena is a well-established non-fiction author, feature writer and Consultant Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund. Her latest book, ‘The Land Where Lemons Grow’, published by Penguin books, is BBC Radio 4’s Book of the Week from 21st April. Emma Beynon has taught writing in a variety of different contexts. In 2007 she developed the Write Team, an innovative creative writing project managed by Bath Festivals. Her writing has been published in the Globe Theatre programme as well as ‘Marine Quarterly’ and ‘Yachting Monthly’.
