2015 Ware Poets Competition

Ware Poets is running its competition for the 17th year, and we are delighted that Carrie Etter has agreed to judge the competition. Carrie is an American poet who has lived in England since 2001. She has published three collections of poetry, has published individual poems very widely, and teaches creative writing at Bath Spa University. 

The Ware Poets Open Poetry Competition offers cash prizes for the winning poems, including one for the best sonnet, and we will publish a competition anthology of prize-winning and short-listed poems.

I 1st Prize £600

I 2nd Prize £300

I 3rd Prize £150

I plus The Ware Sonnet Prize of £150 awarded for the best sonnet submitted.
