2015 British Theatre Challenge Competition

Sky Blue Theatre’s one act playwriting competition is now in it’s fourth year and accepting submissions for 2015 and with a five star review for 2014 performances from Down Stage Centre you can be sure your plays will be well represented. Re-named The British Theatre Challenge, the judges for the competition will, as always, be choosing ten plays as winners which will be performed in a London venue and filmed in October 2015. 

Why you should submit your play
All 10 winning plays will be:

  • Given a full performance in a London theatre!
  • Filmed in performance by MiniMammoth Films!
  • Given a written appraisal by a leading script publisher!
  • The audience favourite play wins £250!
  • In the past 2 years, 18 of the 20 winning plays were given offers of publication!

This is an international playwriting competition with 3 simple requirements – Plays must be written in English for more than 1 character and with a running time of between 10 and 30 minutes.
